When I was 9, a teacher introduced me to Leonard da Vinci. They called him a Renaissance Man because of his talents in invention, painting, sculpting, architecture, science, music, mathematics, engineering, literature, anatomy, geology, astronomy, botany, writing, history, and cartography. Later that year, when asked what I wanted to be when I grew up I said a Renaissance Man.
Everyday after school I raced home, threw down my backpack, and ran off with my friends. We created games, bike trails, inventions, and explored the world. We learned and had fun. I don't understand why that changes as we get older. Work should be fun, rewarding, and meaningful, like hanging out with your friends as a kid.
As we get older, we have a greater ability to impact our community. I believe it's the job of a community (parents, teachers, schools, community members, and companies) to raise the next generation.
I believe the next generation of students possess immense potential to make the world a better place. To express that potential we need to invest in them as a community and help them acquire the Ultimate Currency: a curious and happy mind.
Thus, SeeGeorgeGo was born.
This isn’t a company, it’s a community. It’s my heart and soul. SeeGeorgeGo is my own personal SeeGeorgeGo project. I'm just learning and growing beside it. I guess in my heart, I’m that 9 year old kid, learning and having fun with my friends, chasing Leonardo.
